Heather Cover

“Nothing is more rewarding to me then obtaining a meaningful result for my clients. It is this experience that drives me to fight every day on their behalf.”

Heather is a litigation attorney with over 17 years of experience. She has extensive prior experience in personal injury, product liability, civil rights, employment law, childhood sexual abuse, class action litigation and environmental law. She also has a background in criminal defense. While she has a diverse background working with a variety of individuals and companies, her real passion is working with Plaintiffs. Heather joined the Law Offices of James S. Rogers in 2017 where she welcomes the challenge of taking on the largest corporations in order to protect her clients’ rights. Heather has earned tens of millions in settlement funds over the course of her career for her clients. In addition to trial and arbitration experience, Heather has extensive experience in appellate work. Heather prides herself in her ability to creatively address her clients’ legal issues, and is not afraid to seek expansion of existing case law when the circumstances warrant. Heather is a native of Michigan. She received her undergraduate in philosophy at Western Michigan University before moving to West Virginia to study law at West Virginia University, where she was on the moot court trial team and volunteered her time for the Family Law Legal Clinic.
