Heather is a litigation attorney with over 15 years of experience. She joined the law offices of James S. Rogers in 2017 and focuses her practice on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and sexual abuse cases. Heather is passionate about working with her clients. She appreciates the challenge of taking on the largest corporations in order to protect her clients’ rights. Heather has earned millions in settlement funds over the course of her career for her clients. In addition to trial and arbitration experience, Heather has extensive experience in appellate courts. Heather prides herself in her ability to creatively address her clients’ legal issues, and is not afraid to seek expansion of existing case law when the circumstances warrant such an extension.
Heather is a native of Michigan. She received her undergraduate in philosophy at Western Michigan University before moving to West Virginia to study law at West Virginia University, where she was on the moot court trial team and volunteered her time for the Family Law Legal Clinic. Heather relocated to Seattle in 2016 with her husband.
When not working, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, spending time in the great outdoors, travelling and attending live music events. She has also volunteered with the King County Legal Clinic, providing free legal advice in a walk-in clinic setting. She has also given lectures at various continuing legal education seminars around the country.
