Rolf is a litigation attorney joining the firm after completing his legal education at the University of Washington School of Law. During his legal education Rolf was able to gain experience in both state and federal courts of Washington. Rolf developed his advocacy skills becoming a finalist in the school mock trial competition and while externing at the Federal Public Defenders – Western District of Washington. Rolf was able to make multiple appearances in Western District of Washington Federal District Court to argue on behalf of clients.
Rolf also brings experience from the Washington State Senate – Senate Committee Services and externing at the Washington Court of Appeals – Division I. The experience at the Washington State Senate developed his understanding of Washington State statutory construction. The Washington Court of Appeals externship allowed Rolf to develop an understanding of the appeals process in the state.
Prior to attending law school, Rolf graduated from the University of Oregon. He then went on to serve two years in AmeriCorps. After AmeriCorps, Rolf went to work in Federal Way Public Schools working with students and helping create a new form of the Washington State high school diploma.
When not working, Rolf enjoys spending time with his partner and two dogs. Rolf enjoys reading, playing basketball, and exploring the many hikes around Seattle.
